Sacha Goedegebure is a 3d animation director from the Netherlands. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education, Sacha directed the animated short film “Big Buck Bunny”, one of the first Open Movies created fully with the open source animation tool Blender. He then taught pre-production in a 3d animation school in Singapore, before joining Omens Studios as director and full-time story-teller, where he is developing a slate of original animated short films and also overseeing all creative aspects of the studio, both short and long form. Sacha’s work with the studio started with “Oasis”, the studio’s first animated short film, which won the 15th TBS Digicon6 Singapore competition in 2013. This was followed with the short animation “Cap’n Shmelly and the Sperm Whale” winning the same competition in 2014.
